Catching Up

Going through and editing some archive stuff lately. These are from the 'Hells Half Mile Film and Music Festival' in Bay City, MI. 'Oh My God' was a very energetic and talented band. Lots of power and good vibes fun show.

So, it's been a little while...

Yeah, I should start out by saying I'm sorry. I really am. It's been a while since I posted anything. I could list some excuses but I want to be able to look myself in the mirror later. Truth is I've let this thing go. That said I haven't stopped shooting. Haven't stopped being passionate about photography. I've had to slow down a bit but I have a couple things in the hopper and the camera goes with me everywhere. I'm going to start posting a few things every now and then. Some photographs and some visual journals I've been doing for a creative writing class. If any of you still check this my hats off to you. I appreciate the e-mails and comments I've received from some of you letting me know your disappointment in me. I've taken it very much to heart and it has weighed on me. Please continue to send me your feelings about anything I love hearing all your thoughts.

Dairy Farm

I have been working on a story about a dairy farm and the family that operates it. It is in the very very very early stages but I like what I'm working with so far.

Back again

Waterloo is familiar with me but I can't help but feel as though I don't have a clue about it. I've come and gone from this place a couple times now but for some reason I keep coming back. Maybe it's the only group of settled friends I have or that I feel like I never really won. Whatever it is here I am again... Better or worse sometimes I don't know.

Something better than nothing...

I'm moved back to Waterloo now and have started school. I haven't had much structured shooting just the carrying around of my camera hither and thither. Something from the other night. I made it black and white because John Tully is my hero and he always does that to everything always...

Good bye to Maggies Farm

Today is my last day. I'm going to miss Bay City a lot. The people I met here were amazing and I've made a lot of life long friends. I've had an excellent time working at the paper and the staff here was very helpful. This is a thank you to everyone who gave me their time and allowed me space in their world.
